3 Reading Nook Looks to Try

December 27, 2016

Most designers would probably agree that one thing every bedroom should try to accommodate is a reading nook of sorts. Now, I know some of you are thinking: I haven’t picked up a book in a decade. I get it, and it’s not necessarily just for reading. It can be a place to sit and shop online, kick back for a Netflix binge, or just somewhere to slip your shoes on and off. A small comfortable seating area in a bedroom is a must, if your space allows it.

Here are three options for that empty corner that’s screaming for some love and attention:

Tyler 1

Traditional | The tufted Rutherford chair features some of my favorite details. Pair that with the Harrison end table, topped by the Piper Grey table lamp, then add a hint of color with the Sedona pillow, and you have perfection!

Tyler 2

Contemporary | Sleek, sophisticated, and oh-so-chic is the Caldwell accent chair. The lines are timeless and effortless. Sitting it atop the Isaiah rug gives a warmth underfoot that screams luxe. The Torrin end table allows you to set down your cocktail, while the Grey marble table lamp provides just the right amount of light to immerse yourself in your favorite novel.

Tyler 3

Eclectic | A mix-and-match of fun is what this grouping is all about! The simple lines of the Ezra accent chair, with its lovely dark frame, are punctuated by the industrial vibe of the Ovation floor lamp. Throw your feet up on the Geometric grey pouf, wrap yourself in the lusciousness of the Gabbi throw, and a Sunday afternoon of catching up on your favorite TV programs will be even more enticing.
