Furniture sets often get very mixed reviews. Some people believe they’re genius because they simplify the decision-making process, and since everything goes with everything, it’s a win. Others aren’t into having such a matchy matchy look in their space.
Like any controversial topic, there are pros and cons on both sides. Not only can sets often save you money, they help take the guesswork out of the overwhelming prospect of designing (even though design is like the best job in the world #justsaying). A set gives you the look, without the worry. Everyone will love, appreciate and understand it.
On the other end of the spectrum, sets can be bit of a bore. There’s no piece that serves as an accent or gives a pop. But you don’t need to let that stop you from considering a set.
It’s like how a few scoops of vanilla ice cream are indeed yummy, but they become way more enticing with a drizzle of hot fudge, a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of nuts.
So whether you like to keep things simple (vanilla ice cream), or prefer to jazz them up (hot fudge sundae), you can accomplish both with a furniture set!
