The most fantastic part of coming home is when you step through your doorway and truly feel a sense of belonging and ease.
I love a space that is a direct reflection of the people who live within its four walls.
Webster’s dictionary describes the word “home” as “the place (such as a house or apartment) where a person lives.” I personally believe that your home has the opportunity to be so much more: a place where you can not only live, but also reflect, relax and re-energize.
Your home ultimately has the ability to represent where you have been and where you are now, and it can grow and evolve along with you.
To this day, my biggest influence and source of inspiration is nature. It has become my own personal church in many ways. Introducing trees and other natural elements into an environment is often the final layer in any space I design. I believe that nature is the perfect backdrop.
One of the reasons I love Living Spaces is the opportunity you have to choose from a wide selection of items that help your home feel like it has been collected and assembled over time. Mixing metals and woods is also a great way to step outside of your comfort zone and create a room that is truly dynamic and layered.
At the end of the day, design should mirror life, and life is imperfectly perfect.
I am excited to break rules, and explore the idea of creating moments and experiences along with you.
Lets all go behind the design and reconnect to what home is really about, together.
