3 Ways to WOW with Moscow Mules

The zing of ice cold vodka, the zip of tangy ginger beer, the zest of fresh lime juice – now that sounds like a crowd-pleasing combination, and it has been for many years.

Moscow Mules first came on the scene in 1941 when three friends – a restaurant owner/ginger beer producer, a spirits and food distributor and the president of his vodka division – walked into a bar and came up with a concoction that cleverly mixed their respective products.

And so a new cocktail (and stroke of marketing genius) was born.

A vodka craze that swept the United States during the 50s also played a role in this drink’s rise to fame, and it has recently seen yet another surge in popularity.

As we attempt to beat the summer heat, we couldn’t think of a more fitting candidate for Cocktail of the Month. We were so inspired, in fact, that we devised additional ways to enjoy it:

ONE | Give the gift of Moscow Mules with an easy-to-create kit
TWO | Fix a mug for yourself (of course)
THREE | Bring Moscow Mule style into your interior with accents that celebrate its mid-century roots and evoke its refreshing flavors

Check out our video, drink recipe and inspiration board below, and get in on all the Moscow Mule action!
